How Can I Access A Website Security Certificate?
How do I know if my website is secure?
Site security on the web is more important now than ever before. ChurchSpring takes security very seriously. That's why we offer a free security (or SSL) certificate to all of our ChurchSpring members. This certificate automatically attaches once your unique domain name is pointed to your ChurchSpring website. When the SSL is attached, the HTML of your site will have a padlock on the left side of your domain name (see image).
If you see a message like the following, then your site needs a security certificate:
If you see a "not secure" message next to your domain, don't panic! That doesn't mean that people can easily access your information. All of the ChurchSpring sites are password protected. All that message means is that it's not as secure as the latest standards around the web. We will help you get completely secured in no time.
What if my security certificate did not attach?
Simply reach out to our support team and let us know that your site is unsecured. We will be happy to add your free security certificate for you. Most security certificates are issued within an hour or two of the initial request as long as the request was made during our normal support hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm CST).
