ChurchSpring Giving: Admin Donation Management

Once you have your ChurchSpring Giving account set up, you may be wondering... what happens next? 

Here is a walk-through of the process. When a donation is made through your ChurchSpring Giving feature, you will see the Giving activity in two areas of your website.

#1 In the Giving Area...

Under the "Gifts" tab...
  • You will see a row of categories: All Gifts, In-Person Gifts, and Online Gifts. Online gifts are tracked automatically, while in-person gifts must be added manually.
  • The system will show you the most recent transactions by default, but you may choose to set the date range of the transactions by clicking the date range button and setting it to your desired date range.

  • You may also use the Search box to filter donors or information.

  • Hover your cursor and click any donor information seen in the Gifts tab, and a pop-up box will show all giving transaction details. 

#2 In the People Area...

Under the People List tab...
  • Everyone who donates on your site through ChurchSpring Giving is automatically added to your People list. You can see and search this list from your Admin Menu.
  • Hover your cursor and click the donor's name that you want to check in detail.
  • Click Giving on the donor's page to see Giving History and Recurring Gifts.

  • As seen in the image above, you have several options in the People>Giving tab.
    • Date Range Selection - Click the down arrow and set your own date range of donations to view.
    • Add Record - Add a gift given by check or cash.
    • Giving Statement - Print or email your donor's giving statement for the range of time you select.
    • Export - Download a record of all giving for that donor.
    • Print Page - If you don't want to download the info, you can simply print it.
  • To see specific transaction details, hover your cursor over any transaction, click, and a pop-up window will show all giving transaction details.


FAQS & TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Can more than one email address receive deposit notifications from Stripe? Yes! Once you complete your Stripe profile after the invitation, you can configure your profile from the user icon on the top right corner of the Stripe Dashboard to enable the needed notifications.
