Adding Universal Code to Your ChurchSpring Website
What is Universal Code?
Universal code (such as JavaScript) is the type of code that makes every web page on your website more interactive and dynamic. Some examples of third-party code would include a chat or messaging widget, a banner, a newsletter sign-up, or even a tracking code for Google Analytics or a similar platform.
Where do I add 3rd-party code within my website?
Start with the Page Setting/Custom Code area for page-specific code
The Custom Code tab of the Page Setting is where you will place 3rd-party code for things such as chat or a newsletter sign-up window (to name just two of many options out there). Any global code will need to be placed in the website Settings>Website>Google Analytics.
The Page Setting for the home page is located at the bottom of the hero area:

On the subpages of your website, the Page Setting area is located under the page title:

When you click on Page Setting, you will select Custom Code that is located on the fourth tab.

- For more information on the Page Setting area, please check our help article: How To Add Custom Code To Your Website Page
