Live Stream Glossary
Every tab, button, and field on the Live Streaming page — explained in one place.
Live Streaming has four tabs across the top: Schedule, Studio, Recordings, and Settings. Think of them as: plan it, run it, revisit it, configure it. Use this glossary to look up what any button or field does.
Streaming Stats (visible on every tab) — The gauge in the top-right corner tracks your monthly streaming minutes: how many you've used, how many are left, and how many days remain until they reset. Every church plan includes a set number of minutes each month. Once you're close to the limit, click Upgrade to add more streaming time to your plan.
Schedule
This is your streaming calendar. Every upcoming stream you've planned lives here, and it's where you create new ones.

- Schedule Stream — Opens the Event Information form to plan a new live stream in advance.
- Enter Studio — Skips ahead to the Studio tab to start broadcasting right away, without scheduling anything first.
- Search — Filters the list below by event title — handy once you have more than a handful of streams scheduled.
- Event Title, Date, Start Time, and End Time — The core details of each scheduled stream, shown at a glance. A recurring event also shows (Daily), (Weekly), (Monthly) or (Yearly) next to its title.
- Row actions — An inline Enter Studio button appears here once you're within 30 minutes of the start time. The pencil edits the event; the trash can deletes it.
Conflict warning: if two streams overlap in time, a red CONFLICT badge appears next to the event title. Hovering over it explains: "There is another stream scheduled at the same time. Please adjust your schedule to resolve this conflict." Edit one of the two events to fix the overlap.

- Repeats — How often the event recurs: Never, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Custom for your own pattern.
- Start Date, Start Time, and End Time — When the stream begins and ends, scheduled in your church's configured time zone (shown just below the fields).
- Destinations — Where the stream broadcasts: Website, YouTube, Facebook, and Custom RTMP. An option only lights up once it's connected in Settings.
- Record and Auto-post — Record stream saves a copy to Recordings. Auto-post publishes that recording automatically instead of waiting for manual approval.
- Add this event on your website? — Lists the stream as an event on a page of your church website — pick which page from the dropdown next to it.
Studio
The Studio is your on-air control room — this is where you actually go live, right from your browser.

- Status badge — Shows OFFLINE or LIVE depending on whether you're currently broadcasting.
- Camera, Microphone, and Headphones — Click an icon to mute or unmute it. Click the small arrow beside it to switch between any connected cameras, microphones, or speakers.
- Quality — Sets the resolution you broadcast in, such as 720p HD. A lower setting uses less bandwidth on an unreliable connection.
- Start Stream and Stop Stream — Goes live to every destination you've selected, or ends the broadcast.
Settings panel

- Settings, Director, and Chat — Switches between the three panels of the Studio: the settings panel, the camera and screen director, and the live chat.
- Stream title — The name viewers will see for this stream.
- Stream Date, Start Time, and End Time — When this stream is scheduled to run, matching the event on your Schedule tab.
- Destinations — Choose where this stream broadcasts, such as your website, YouTube, or Facebook.
- Record and Auto Post — Toggle on to save a recording of this stream, and to automatically publish it to your chosen destination once you stop streaming.
- Website page — The page on your church website where this stream will appear when you post it there.
- Enable Chat — Toggle on to let viewers chat during the stream in the Chat panel. Visible on the Ignite plan.
Director panel

- Cameras — Shows every camera connected to your computer. Click one to switch your main video feed to it.
- Shared Screens — Lets you share and switch to your screen or a specific application window as your video feed.
- Audio Sources — Shows every microphone and audio input connected to your computer, so you can choose which one is broadcast.
Recordings
Every stream you've recorded lands here, whether it aired live or not, so you can review it, download it, or publish it later.

- Search — Filter your recordings by stream title.
- Stream Title, Date, Duration, Expires In, and Post Location — The columns of the recordings table: what the stream was called, when it happened, and how long it ran. Expires In is how much time remains before the recording is automatically removed from storage. Post Location is the website page it's published to, if any.
- Failed badge — The recording didn't process or save correctly, so there's no video available. Only the option to delete that entry remains. Contact support if you need help recovering the recording.
- Row actions — Download opens Request MP4 Video or Download Audio. The eye previews the recording in place. The pencil renames it and sets its Post Location. The trash can deletes it permanently.
Settings
The configuration hub for how and where your church streams. Set this up once, and every scheduled stream and Studio session uses it.
How you stream

- Online Studio — Stream directly from your browser using the built-in Studio, with camera and microphone controls. No extra software needed.
- Advanced Setup — Use external streaming software such as OBS, Wirecast, or vMix, connecting through the RTMP details below.
- External Platform — Stream using a third-party platform such as YouTube, Facebook Live, or another provider.
Connection

This section appears only when Advanced Setup is selected above, with the details your external encoder needs.
- RTMP Server URL — Paste this into your encoder's server or URL field.
- Stream Key — Paste this into your encoder's stream key field. Keep it private, since anyone with it can stream to your channel. The icons let you regenerate, reveal, and copy it.
- Recommended Encoder Settings — Match these in your encoder for the smoothest, most reliable stream.
Recommended encoder settings: Video Codec H.264 — Resolution 1280 x 720 (720p) — Bitrate 4,500 Kbps — Keyframe interval 2 sec — Audio AAC, 128 Kbps.
Destinations

- Web Streaming — Streams directly to your own church website. Built in, so no external account is needed.
- YouTube — Connect your YouTube account to stream to your channel.
- Facebook — Connect your Facebook account to stream to your profile or Page.
- Custom RTMP — Enter a stream URL and key to send your broadcast to any other platform that accepts RTMP.
Each connected destination shows a Set as Default toggle, which pre-selects it for new streams, and a Disconnect or Configure button. You can enable more than one destination at once, for example streaming to both YouTube and your website simultaneously.
Recording

The default recording behavior for every new stream. Schedule and Studio can each override it per event.
- Record Stream? — Saves a copy of every stream to Recordings once it ends.
- Auto-Post? — Publishes that recording automatically instead of waiting for you to review and approve it first.
On your website

Controls how the stream appears on your public site.
- Standby Image — Shown on your website whenever the live feed isn't available, say your connection drops or the camera isn't detected. Click Select Image to upload one; a landscape image at 1280 x 720 is recommended.
- Event Page — Turns on a listing of your scheduled streaming events on a page of your website, and lets you pick which page.
- Countdown — Displays a countdown timer on your website ahead of a scheduled stream, in either or both spots. Turn each on or off independently.
- When would you like the countdown to start? — Sets how far ahead of the stream the countdown appears.
