How To Add Event Registration To Your Church Website
Looking to easily add event registration to your church website?
Look no further! With event registration, your visitors will now be able to register for your events and you will be notified of each registration by email. You no longer have to wonder who is attending or how much to prepare. You can track how your event is trending in real-time.
So, how does it work?
In your Flourish or Grow plan, when you set up registration for an event, a registration button and form will automatically be added to the page. When a visitor clicks to register, a registration form will pop up, and the details of that form will be sent to the email recipient(s) of your choice. No need to connect to any 3rd party service, or install any plugins. Everything is built into the ChurchSpring platform and ready for action.
Take it for a spin!
You can easily add event registration to any new or existing event on your church website in just 3 simple steps!
1. Click the "add event" button or edit an existing event, and toggle on "Event Registration."
2. Optional: Configure the email notification for new registrations. By default, the email recipient of notifications for all new registrations is the "account owner" (found in the Settings > Admins tab). You can edit the recipient by clicking the gear icon next to "Event Registration." You can also set up multiple recipients by entering emails separated by a comma: ex. name@email.com, anothername@email.com.
The subject of the new registration notification email is based on the event title. You can also customize that subject as seen in the form below.
3. Save the event and you're done! Your event will now display a registration button and form which will allow your visitors to register for the event.
FAQS & TROUBLESHOOTING
- I need more custom fields than what is available on the registration form. What can I do? Since our platform integrates with any 3rd-party form creator, you can simply embed that form onto your ChurchSpring website page. We recommend JotForm or Google Forms as free options. Once you create your new form, copy the embed code, navigate to the webpage where you want the form to be, and place the embed code in the HTML section of a text box. Need help?
