How To Add Videos to Your Website

Looking to add videos to your website?

You're in the right spot! The ChurchSpring Inline Editor makes it simple. Here are the steps for embedding a video player on your site.

1. Get the embed code or link

Choose the video you want to share from a platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook, and copy the link or embed code for the video you want to insert. Usually, you can copy the embed code by right-clicking on the video and selecting the "copy embed code" option, or you can find it by clicking on the "Share" option. The link can be copied directly from the URL bar.

2. Choose where to add your video

Add or edit a text box where you want to insert your video. From the editor toolbar above the content area, click the video icon to open the menu below:

3. Paste the link or embed code

In the video menu, you have two options: Link or Embed. Paste your link or embed code here, and click Insert. Your video will now show up in the text box.

4. Click save and you're done!

Scroll down to the bottom of the text box and click the save button. That's it!

Want to add a background video to your pages? You can do that!

Adding a background video on your home page (behind the sliders) can be done by hovering over “background,” and clicking “custom image.” “Video” is the second option at the top of the open window. When you click on Video, another window will open prompting you to load a  YouTube link to your video. Please note that this area is designed to integrate with YouTube links only.
